Tickets go on sale this Friday for the event of the summer as the award-winning British International Motor Show returns to ExCeL London in July. With global unveilings, over 600 cars on display, interactive features and live entertainment, it is sure to be the motoring event of the year.
Ticket prices for the Show start at just £10 for an adult weekday pass with a child ticket (over fives) priced at £6, and a weekday family ticket, which will admit two adults and two children, for only £25. The full range of tickets is available from 1 February through the Show's all-new website at www.britishmotorshow.co.uk or by calling 0871 230 5588.
The website is also the place to find out the latest Show information, including more about the Show's attractions and exhibitors. There is exciting video footage and a photo gallery of the 2006 event to give a flavour of what is in store for this year's even bigger and better Show. Fans can also stay up to date by signing up for the Show's regular e-newsletter, and plan their day out using the groundbreaking interactive map which goes live in the next few weeks.
Doors open on 23 July for VIP Preview Day, when the real motoring enthusiasts can be among the first to get a taste of the action at the Show. Ticket numbers are limited, and entry costs £25. Regular public days run from 24 July until 3 August.
International Press Day will be on Tuesday 22 July 2008. Accreditation for press day will be arranged in advance of the Show. Details of how to register for accreditation will be communicated shortly.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) is the trade association for the UK motor industry. Founded in 1902, the Society organised the first British International Motor Show at Crystal Palace. In 1978, the Motor Show moved to Birmingham's NEC where it was held every second year until 2004.
